When All Creatures Rested

Well, this is sort of a beauty and the beast kind of day. The beauty of it was the weather which will soon turn beastly. The Beastliness was catching up on work and emails from all the recent travels, which took me to beautiful places.

So, here is a rose that I captured several weeks ago and a portrait of The King from the Sydney Australia zoo. They just sort of belong together today.

Blake from our Oregon workshop managed to thrill us with the images from his venture into Macro shooting, while John and Robert uploaded fabulous 4th of July shots and Edward simply took our collective breaths away with his photographs at Mono Lake. I find it entirely wonderfilled to get inspiratioin and communication from all the amazing people I met at the Oregon workshop of Chris Hurtt and Robert LaFollette. AND another part of this day's beauty is thinking about the upcoming workshop in Montreal.
