Inside the house a gaggle of nice but largely unknown folk were cleaning our place from top to bottom after a fire in the building had caused extensive smoke damage. These wizards of cleaning showed up so fast we don't even remember how they arrived - or when - but like the Sisters of Mercy that Joan Collins once sang about they took loving care of every item in our place which is now cleaner than it will ever be again. One of our neighbors had a dryer malfunction and somehow that triggered the onset of supernatural cleaning/restoration. We are still wondering how that works but are not complaining in the least!
What does one do while this activity is going on? One stays out of the way least wizard mist fall on one's hand and it engages in involuntary dusting action that lasts for days! So we took some moments to shoot the flowers that are on our little deck. They were not victims of the smoke and in fact seemed to thrive in the above 90 heat that otherwise melts shoe leather and causes stout hearted souls to descend into ice-worship when only weeks ago they prayed for 'spring'...presumably because they think 'spring' lasts forever and is not followed by summer. These days 'spring' lasts six and a half hours after which the planet goes into extended hot flashes as though menopause is geologic, but that's for another blog. Here are a very few flowery pics and we hope you enjoy them. We are eversograteful for wizards and decks and a clean home.
