...there was Seoul aplenty

No Pics TODAY, or bananas

We have been sipping...er...drinking...er abounding in...champagne here in the Hyatt Incheon Hotel in Korea. This we think is not so astounding (at least the drinking part) but we are eversograteful to be here. We are en route via China, Mongolia, Russia, Korea, Japan to ... er... home and that has not been easy. Let us assure you that if one is traveling from China and then expects to go back THROUGH China to get a plane outside of CHINA, one needs to have a transit visa from CHINA (we are not making this up) and we, unfortunately, did not have such a visa. We did have persistence, though, and that may have proved enough as long as one ALSO can find un-English speaking people who are willing to use the hand-to-toes form of communication to enable happiness in transporting a middle-aged, frantic, semi-homicidal, single woman from point A to point B as long as A an B exist in their frame of reference. (You are following this, aren't you?)

We have flown on many aircraft getting to this point and are grateful for physics and engineers who for no other reason seem to enjoy demonstrating that air pressure over and under wings is cool. We thnk so too, and kinda depend on it if truth be told.

So we are now expecting that as long as we do not get further side-lined to ... um ... let's say: remote areas of Lapland ... we will get home tomorrow at some time which is not saying much since we have crossed more time-borders lately than Harry Potter. We will need many quotients of further champagne or other memory-inducing aides to completely explain all of this ... assuming that ye are willing to listen and learn. We do not blame you for simply shifting interest to other pursuits since we are ... um... everso sensitive!
