We are here in very, very south Australia, Tasmania to be exact. Just arrived after a couple of days in Sydney and had the afternoon to meander around. So, we meandered with our trusty little Canon G-9 and thought SOMEone out there might enjoy a peek at this really cool town.
Above is a pic of our hotel. Yep, we are not making this up. Somerset on the Pier is a converted warehouse and is just too, too awesome as a hotel. All rooms are on one floor and each room has a loft bedroom. Just, you know, au tres nifty!
Above is a wall in one of the little town squares and we just LOVED the artsy-fartsy feel of the whole thing.
Above is part of a sculpture near city hall, which is near our hotel which is near pretty much everything.
